Grace Hae Rim Shin, Ed.M.

Research Associate/Graduate Student Researcher

Grace Shin is a research associate/graduate student researcher with The Civil Rights Project's Center for Civil Rights Remedies (CCRR) and a Ph.D. student in the division of Higher Education & Organizational Change at the UCLA School of Education and Information Studies. Grace's work with CCRR strongly aligns with her personal academic and professional interests in demonstrating gaps within university policies and practices, supporting students unaccounted for by the status quo, and identifying approaches for closing these gaps.

Prior to joining the team, Grace served as an administrator and data analyst at Stanford University's Office of Academic Advising, the Consortium on Financing Higher Education (COFHE), and Duke University's Office of Undergraduate Education. She received her B.A. in English and Art History from Duke University and an Ed.M. in Higher Education from the Harvard Graduate School of Education.
